The anime "Gotoubun no Hanayome" or "The Quintessential Quintuplets" has just announced that the second season of the anime will be postponed until January 2021 due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Gotoubun no Hanayomi" which was adapted from the manga by Negi Haruba tells about the life of a poor student named Fuutaro Uesugi. To fulfill his needs, Uesugi must become a private tutor for five twin girls.

Uesugi actually had a problem with one of the quintuplets. However, because he had to pay off his father's debt, Uesugi had no other choice. What's more, the job allowed him to get five times the salary.

Under the direction of Kaor taking over from season one director Satoshi Kuwabara. The series is produced at Bibury Animation Studio (Azur Lane: The Animation, with Keiichiro Ochi returning as series composer from season 1. The cast from season one returns as the five quadruplets and the male lead Futaro Uesugi.

This comedy romance anime genre is filled by well-known voice actors, Inori Minase as Itsuki Nakano, Miku Itou as Miku Nakano, Ayana Taketatsu as Nino Nakano, Ayane Sakura as Yotsuba Nakano, Kana Hanazawa as Ichika Nakano, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Fuutarou Uesugi.
