Kumo desu ga, Nani ka? (蜘蛛ですが、なにか？) or in English is a Japanese light novel series written by Okina Baba and illustrated by Tsukasa Kiryu. The series has been adapted into an anime slated for premiere in January 2021. 

Animated by Millepensee and directed by Shin Itagaki, with Okina Baba and Yūichirō Momose as screenwriters, Kii Tanaka designing the characters, and Shūji Katayama creating the music. The series was produced by Jōtarō Ishigami. Riko Azuna will perform the series' opening theme song "keep weaving your spider way", while Aoi Yūki will perform the ending theme song "Gambare! Kumoko-san."

The official website for the television anime of novel writer Okina Baba and illustrator Tsukasa Kiryu has released a trailer and revealed the new cast, staff, theme song artist, and the anime's January 8 premiere date. Crunchyroll is streaming the video in an English translated version that cannot be watched in Asia. The site also launched new visuals.

The anime will premiere on January 8, 2021 on AT-X, Tokyo MX, BS11, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and TV Aichi, and will run for two consecutive cours (quarter of a year). The anime was previously scheduled to premiere this year, but the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has seriously affected the anime's production schedule.
